Heavy disputes between pupils, friction within the teaching staff, arguments between parents, but also seemingly irreconcilable differences between teachers and parents – educational institutions offer an extremely diverse potential for conflicts of all kinds. No wonder, because they are far more than places of knowledge transfer, they are a mirror of our society. As an external service, mediation not only helps to ensure that conflicts are resolved constructively and that good co-operation is possible again. It allows us to focus on the essentials again – the best possible education.

 

​Embedded in the systemic concept of the Munich based local NGO MZM school mediation, I provided mediation services at two schools in the south of Munich from 2016 to 2024.
